The 35th annual Savage Fest promises a day of fun for all ages and a chance to meet friends old and new. Originating in Savage Days festivities from the 1920s, Savage Fest conveys the charm and vibrancy of the small town of Savage, MD. The celebration takes place on Baldwin Common with live music, dance performances, pony rides, a petting zoo, games, crafts, vendors, food and more.

Savage Fest is a small-town annual festival which captures the spirit of Savage Days, a community celebration that first occurred in the 1920s. We invite you to join us as we continue this beloved, lively tradition! We love spending time with our neighbors and welcoming visitors to our community.  Shop unique crafts, listen to live music, walk our historical common area and enjoy fun children activities on the grounds of and community park adjacent to Carroll Baldwin Hall.

Shows and Events

• SVV – Classic American Folk

• The Burkes - Classic rock covers from the 70's, 80's, 90's and more.

• Pet Parade – Festgoers can sign up at the SCA table to enter their best friends (dogs or other lead-able loved ones) in the parade. No prizes…just a chance to show off!

• Kangaroo Kids – The nationally recognized precision jump rope team

• Field Games in Grass – Variety of games and activities organized by Sunny Smiles Summer Camp.

• Car Smash! – Support the Savage Volunteer Fire Department and smash a car with a sledgehammer after they demonstrate how to cut open a car

Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, and Moon Bounce & Slide – Fun for kids provided by D&D Pony Rides
